The B5Media network:

Why won’t Oprah interview Sarah Palin?

According to the Chicago Tribune, Oprah’s producers have said it would be better to wait until after the election for Oprah to interview Governor Sarah Palin, the Repulican vice presidential nominee.  They (the producers) say Oprah shouldn’t get involved in politics.

Two reasons why this excuse doesn’t ring true.  (1)Oprah has interviewed Democratic presidential nominee Barak Obama twice. (2) Even with all her billions, Oprah is still concerned about ratings.  I’m just guessing here, but having Sarah Palin on her show would be a huge ratings boost right now. Or, just maybe, a high rating and lots of media exposure for Gov. Palin isn’t what Oprah wants.

She’s the boss, and she doesn’t have to interview anyone she doesn’t want to interview.  But… just don’t tell us it’s because you don’t think you want to get involved in “politics.”

What do you think?  Should Oprah interview Sarah Palin? (Respond to my poll or comment.)

I think Sarah Palin should take the upper hand and ignore Oprah. Take control of who will interview her and not let Oprah make a difference. Also, it probably would be in Sarah’s best interests if she wasn’t interviewed by Oprah. If Oprah definitely has refused, it shows her for who she really is.

Thanks for the comment, ME. I agree that Gov. Palin should decide who interviews her and when. Sometimes politicians feel they should accept all “opportunities,” but maybe they should decline some. Oprah isn’t the only interviewer out there, either.

Oprah has enthusiastically supported Obama from the beginning. She has too much at stake in his candidacy to give an opponent access to her audience and her credibility with that audience.

Why the lame excuses? Oprah of all people should know people recognize BS when they see it. Her producers aren’t doing her credibility any favors, that’s for sure.

Oprah wouldn’t support Paris Hilton for VP why should she support Palin. Sarah is not qualified to be VP. When you consider John Mccains age and medical history you tend to wonder how long will John Mccain hold office before he crocks over on his old A$$. Sarah will become president and the American people are not going to fall for such a con.
