Why A Business Plan? Part 2
My goal in writing these posts over the next few days and maybe weeks is to give you information to help you pick up the pen and start writing. This would be one of those investments I mention in my post on Perpetual Learning. I know that I have begun my business without completing my business plan. I am doing ok, but I want to take my business to another level and that is why I began looking at taking the leap and getting my business plan complete. Come with me on this journey. I would love to hear from some of my readers about writing your business plan!
Here are some things to consider as you begin the process of writing your Business Plan:
According to Donald Trump from his Billionare’s Road Map to Success, “Your Business Plan should answer questions that prospective lenders, investors employees and suppliers will have about your business.”
Here are some of those questions:
What is your product?
How large is the market for your product?
Who will be running the business?
Can your business make, market and sell your product?
What are the potential sales and earnings of the business?
These questions are important to answer as you write each of the specific sections of your business plan!
