“The Last Lecture” Professor Randy Pausch Dies
Baby boomer Randy Pausch was a computer science professor at Carnegie-Mellon University. Last September he gave a lecture at Carnegie-Mellon as part of a series titled “The Last Lecture.” Today he died in Virginia, at the age of 47.
As he started the lecture he announced that he was dying of pancreatic cancer. Then he went on to talk about “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” and his lecture was an immediate phenomenon.
