Looking for a new job? Some web sites for “second career” baby boomers
Here are just a couple of interesting websites I found that help baby boomers find second (third?) careers:
YourEncore.com, which matches retired and veteran scientists and engineers with companies wishing to use their expertise.
Seniors4Hire, a job placement service for retired baby boomers.
SeniorJobBank, helping companies connect with over-50 employees.
SeniorJobs, same kind of service.
SnagAJob, for hourly jobs.
And last, but not least, DinosaurExchange (terrible name!)
I am not making any claims about any of these sites, although I will check them out (I might not sign up for the dinosaur thing; I haven’t decided about that one yet) and I’ll let you know.
