Small Business Boomers

Health has become one of the great concerns of boomers. 
As they age, they begin to realize their vulnerability to ailments they hadn’t considered in their youth and middle years.  They may find they’re slowing down, tire more easily, and thus discover it’s a chore to run a business.

If the proposed Obamacare (Obama’s health care law) is passed, Boomers could be on their way to extinction.  According to Obama’s own words, pain pills should be dispensed rather than medical procedures that will prolong and improve the life of the elderly.
Boomers are gravitating into that category called “elderly” as they pass age 65.  The plan includes counseling on end of life procedures for Boomers rather than on medical ones to continue life if someone in an administrative position deems you unworthy to receive care. I do not understand what Obama is doing concerning Medicare. We are on a fixed income and Medicare is to our advantage for health care. Monies are taken out every month from our social security to pay for our Medicare part A and part B. I trust we will not be affected. Nothing is clear to the public. Just keep Medicare for those who have it and have been paying into it!!!

I recently discovered the National Association of Baby Boomer Women and wanted to let you know about it. It is a membership site, and I haven’t joined yet.
They have online seminars and articles about subjects like finances, health, and dealing with Baby Boomer men. I particularly want to read the article about “Irritable Male Syndrome”
I’d be interested to know if you join and what you think.
