Start-Up Diary – You Thought I’d Given Up

The past month has been busy with family business (elderly in-laws) and the weather has been very hot and humid.  I’m shooting my video’s outside so hot and humid does make a difference.  Because I haven’t been doing doesn’t mean I haven’t been thinking.

One glitch is that my audio-visual specialist has dropped my project.  She’s my daughter who is finishing up her Masters in HR and looking for a job so it was not unexpected.  So, I now am my own AV person.  I could hire someone, but the idea is to do this on a shoestring, sort of a marketing experiment.  I aborted my first attempt at filming alone Saturday when I forgot to charge the camera’s battery.  A learning experience.

Well, the weather is super today.  The battery is fully charged.  Hopefully, filming starts this afternoon.
