These enterprises gave so much to our economy, created jobs for so many people, and represented US cars. Now we say F**K off to them while we hand billions of dollars to banks? How can we neglect to care for companies who have gone beyond "just a business" to an enterprise that represents the US. Do we really want to see the corporations of the US collapse just so we can save some money? Do we want toyota and honda cars to dominate the streets of LA or New York? Or does this reflect the unforgiving and selfish nature of us americans. Think about it, they’ve been here for almost 100 years without bothering us with bailouts.
