Quote of the week: Warren Buffet on Investing
I love Warren Buffet! The man is the third wealthiest man in the world and he still drives his own car around and lives in a three-bedroom house in Omaha. He is upset that he pays less tax than his secretary, and he doesn’t own a cell phone. Imagine that!
This post from FortuneWatch had a bunch of great Buffet quotes. My favorite: “Never invest in a company you don’t understand.” Investing without understanding sounds more like gambling.
This axiom works well in all kinds of areas:
- Never start a business you don’t understand.
- Never write about something you don’t understand.
- Never marry someone you don’t understand :-)
Do you have any more?

It is rare for someone so wealthy to be so modest. It is refreshing that some people are still able to remain themselves even after they become wealthy. I have been reading blogs and articles from James D Brausch, he is very intelligent and still seems down to earth. If you envy this, you should look him up. Thanks for sharing.
