It has been a long time.  To be exact, 40 years.  Baby Boomers remember Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Civil Rights movement.  Dr. King was assassinated 40 years ago in Memphis.  But the movement continued.

Today, we have come full circle, with the election of Barak Obama as President of the United States.  Whatever your thoughts about the election, are you as moved as I am at this historic moment?  I wonder what Dr. King would be thinking if he were around today?

From 1968 to  2008.  What are your thoughts on this day?
