Experts
Working with the right expert is money in the bank. Remember trades people are experts, investment advisers are experts, teachers are experts, car repair people are experts. Find people you can work with and appear to have their heads screwed on right then listen to them.
Last weekend we decided to stay in our current 10 year old home and do an expansion. My wife and I thought about various options to do with the structure then called the woman who was our general contractor when we built the house. She stopped over yesterday and us we shouldn’t do what we planed. Instead she came up with an idea to give us the same expansion we wanted for 40% of the cost of our original idea. Wow.
In today’s complex world you cannot be an expert in everything. It takes too long. When it comes to running a business you do not have the time to become an expert in everything you need. Maybe you are smart enough to do it, but should you spend the time. After all you are supposed to be an expert in what you do be that transportation consultant or pizza parlor owner.
