DOW Drops Lots!!!
Always good news never sold a single copy of a newspaper. When was the last time you heard the news broadcasts lead with “Everything is wonderful. Details at eleven.” When you hear that stocks are due for a correction or they had a big correction on this day in 1987, got get another cup of coffee or scotch or whatever floats your boat.
If you are a boomer you should be in the stock market for the long haul. Your portfolio should have long term objectives. One day or one week blips should not bother you.
You stock choices are for months or years. You purchased them for a reason. If that reason has not changed, sit tight. If something significant has happened at the company whoes stock you own that would cause you to alter your reasons for owning that stock, then sell, and quickly.
So as far as the drop in the market on Friday goes. Forgetaboutit and have a nice weekend.

Thank goodness that in Australia it is illeagal to give advice like that.
I’m sure our seniors will look forward to enjoying their retirements.
