Business 501 From Trump Himself
Donald Trump has been a name I’ve known for most of my adult life. I never knew how much this man knows about the successes and failures and successes of business until I decided to start my own business. The depth of his business knowledge is unfathomable. I don’t believe that he knows how much he knows. Why do I say this? Because I believe one of the reasons he is soooooooo successful is because he remains in a perpetual state of learning. I believe as much as he gives out, he takes in exponentially from those around him.
This Baby Boomer was born in 1946 and is a self-made business man. From an early age Donald Trump knew he wanted to ”make his mark.”
What kind of mark or impact do you want to make with your business? Why are you in business and what is your ultimate purpose or goal? Donald Trump has created and is in process of creating a legacy for this generation that will supersede his lifetime and I believe even the lifetime of his children.

“Experience taught me a few things. One is to listen to your gut, no matter how good something sounds on paper. The second is that you’re generally better off sticking with what you know. And the third is that sometimes your best investment are the ones you don’t make.”

3. Your investments will make or break you. It’s ok to walk away and leave something on the table.
“I don’t do it for the money. I’ve got enough, much more than I’ll ever need. I do it to do it. Deals are my art form…”
The last part of this quote is why I shared it. “Deals are my art form.” That is a powerful statement. Would you, could you, would anyone say that about what you do? All I can say is that, that is how I feel about what I do. My passion is people development. My business is about teaching people and helping people move to new heights in their life and career.
