“Be Heard” – Get Advice from Marketing Gurus and Win Some Great Stuff
March 7, 2008 by Jean Murray
Shannon Cherry over at Startup Spark has a great series of podcasts for “Be Heard” day, which is today, March 7. This “day” was started in 2005 to help small businesses “find their voice, tell their story, and be heard.”
Each podcast features an interview with a successful marketer, with tips for you on how to “be heard” by marketing your practice. And you can receive free gifts from BeHeardfirst.com for listening. (Check this website TODAY to learn more about the gifts.)
I listened to the podcast interview with marketing guru Shel Horowitz. He had some very interesting advice about how to market yourself, particularly about how to stand out from the competition. (The interview was 20 minutes long; find the audio arrow under the tags to start the podcast.)
Even if you don’t win anything, the advice from these marketing people should be very helpful to you.

Hi, Jean, Glad you found my interview useful. There’s a lot more free info on low-cost and no-cost marketing on the frugalmarketing website, including eleven years of my monthly newsletter. Of course, there’s even more in my books (wink).
