Baby Boomers Remember George Carlin

I just heard that George Carlin died over the weekend. That’s very sad. He was a brilliant comedian and an astute observer of human nature, which of course @$^*ed some people off. The video below is a great example of Carlin’s ability to cut through the #### and tell it like it is. (Notice how I can’t bring myself to use those words?)

George Carlin at Kent State in the 1970s

The photo above is from when he was at Kent State around the time he did his classic “The Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television.” Since I was at Kent State at the time, I thought this photo was perfect. What do you remember about George Carlin?
I remember hearing about the “Seven Words” and I was frantic to find out what they were. I think I was hoping one of them was new, that I hadn’t heard it before.I’m guessing we can say most of these words on TV now, but we might have to differentiate between cable and network. What do you think?
