When you begin the process of writing your Business Plan, keep in mind there is a format that investors and specific information that investors want to see. So don’t modify the format. Like a good recipe, make sure you include all of the ingredients.
 Here is a simple format you can use:
1. Executive Summary
2. Business Section
        a. Company Description
        b. Organization and Management
3. Marketing Analysis Section
4. Financing Section
5. Management Section

Many Baby Boomers are beginning businesses later in life. Boomers bring life experience and work experience that you will never get from a book. It comes from getting out there and working. As I mentioned in my post a couple of days ago, Business 501 From Trump Himself, I believe that Donald Trump remains in a place of perpetual learning. Though by most people’s standards, Donald Trump has arrived. I don’t know for sure, but I don’t believe that he has that opinion of himself. I don’t think he thinks he has arrived. Donald Trump has been a name I’ve known for most of my adult life. I never knew how much this man knows about the successes and failures and successes of business until I decided to start my own business. The depth of his business knowledge is unfathomable. I don’t believe that he knows how much he knows. Why do I say this? Because I believe one of the reasons he is soooooooo successful is because he remains in a perpetual state of learning. The word retirement by definition means withdrawing from one’s occupation or from active working life. I found this definition in Webster-Merriam dictionary online. Here’s a question, should the word be redefined for modern society? Why redefine the word? Because back in the day when many of our parents parents retired there was a definite withdrawl from active work life. They wanted to retire and we wanted them to retire. Not so today!

My mother is 61 years old is at the older end of the spectrum of Baby Boomers. I was born in 1963 and I am at the other end of the spectrum. At 61, my mother is still young to me. Back when I was a child 60 years old was considered old. Not so today!! Today my mother has successfully transitioned from her first career working for the government for well over 25 years.
