50 things to do at 50-something CONTEST!
As you know, I have been compiling an ongoing list of 50 things to do at 50-something. These are fun, life-extending, life-enhancing, positive things. And I would like your help.
Leave a comment below giving me one additional item to add to the 50/50 list. Deadline for the comments is Friday, June 20 at 11:59 PM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time). Your comment must be appropriate for 50-something Baby Boomers, and it can’t duplicate one my comments, from June 4th or June 5th.
The prize? A $30 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble or Borders, your choice.
The comments will be put into a random drawing, and I’ll announce the winner here at Small Business Boomers. I need 30 more items, and I hope you all can help provide them.
Make sure your e-mail address is included in the designated space with your comment. Otherwise I won’t be able to contact you if your name is drawn.
The prize is only available to those in the U.S. and Canada.
This is my first contest here at Small Business Boomers, and I am excited to see lots of great comments. I will publish all appropriate comments here at the end of the contest.

Start a new business venture doing what you love. 50 is the power age! When you can let go of what others think and your own limitations, then you can free up the energy to go for it.
Some of the most powerful companies have been started at a kitchen table. If you do what you love, you will be able to get through the tough times. Find what you were meant to do! Then get busy doing it!
Take time to really listen to your grandchildren. Their’s is a fascinating world if you open your mind and let them share. Don’t offer advice, correct them, find something negative at these times…simply listen.
Those of us who are blessed with grandchildren would agree. Thanks!
